Biden Plans to Expand Healthcare Coverage to Dreamers 

The Biden administration has taken steps to expand healthcare coverage for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients. The move will allow approximately 300,000 DACA recipients to enroll in Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). The decision aims to address the healthcare disparities faced by undocumented immigrants and ensure that DACA recipients have access to affordable healthcare. 

Departments of Homeland Security and State Announce Enhancements to the Central American Minors Program 

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Department of State have announced the expansion of the Central American Minors program, which allows certain minors in Central America to reunite with their parents in the United States. The enhancements include expanding eligibility to more family members, streamlining the application process, and allowing applicants to apply for waivers of certain inadmissibility grounds. The program aims to provide a safe and legal pathway for eligible minors to reunite with their parents in the U.S. and avoid dangerous journeys.
