Many USCIS Forms have been Updated without Notice

Many USCIS forms have been updated without adequate notice.  The current administration is attempting to slow down legal immigration by constantly changing the forms with literally a few days of notice.

Annual Limit Reached in the EB-4 Category

The Department of State (DOS) announced that all available immigrant visas in the Employment-Based Fourth Preference (EB-4) category for fiscal year (FY) 2025 have been issued. Embassies and consulates may not issue visas in the category for the remainder of the fiscal year. The annual limit will re-set with the start of the new fiscal year (FY 2026) on October 1, 2025. This category includes Special Immigrant Juveniles (SIJ), unskilled labor, religious workers (ministers and certain religious professionals), broadcasters (working for U.S. international media organizations), armed forces members (certain foreign nationals who served in the U.S. military), and certain employees of U.S. government organizations abroad (like translators for the U.S. military).

ICE is Allegedly Making More Arrests, But Pundits Say Different

The most recent DHS data recently released shows that fewer than 600 people per day have been booked into ICE detention facilities across the country during the first three weeks of February that is well below the pace of 1,200 to 1,500 arrests a day that administration officials have said they want. That hasn't stopped the new administration from making some bold claims.
